spirit of hope

By , August 24, 2009

Due to a lack of adequate funding and service reimbursement, the Spirit of Hope House is no longer operated by Family Services Alliance.  FSA terminated services at the home until March 31, 2010.

This partnership between FSA and PNHS  provided a stable, safe, and sober transitional home for women in need of housing that is supportive of their substance abuse recovery efforts.

Family Services Alliance provided the following services to the Spirit of Hope residents:

  • Case Management (required of all residents)
  • Recovery Support Groups
  • Family and Life Skills Groups
  • Parenting Classes
  • Resource Referrals
  • Staffed Management of the Home
  • Alcohol/Drug Testing

FSA is looking at other avenues of funding to provide these vital recovery support services to women who are working to stay clean and sober.
